HRBR proudly announces Laolu (Innervisions) as its first international guest of the year 2019 and nothing else than a B2B between 1DAN and DJ Ouch! to warmup the dance floor.
⎈ LAOLU (Innervisions / CH)
Released on Innervisions at the end of 2015, Laolu’s remix of Dele Sosimi’s ‘Too Much Information’ has been a number one hit and Dixon and Âme’s favourite track of the year. Laolu was born out of the love of a Nigerian father and a Swiss mother who, most appropriately, met in record store in Berlin. He spent his first years in Nigeria where his parents owned “The Gallery”, a club dedicated to Jazz and Soul. And so began his musical education.
He moved to Geneva where he started DJing and met Kadebostan who quickly became a musical co-conspirator. In 2010, Laolu released his first EP “O Fantasma” on the young Berlin based label Clap Your Hands. During the following years, his collaborations and solo work have led him to produce music for labels including Innervisions, Freude Am Tanzen, Defected Clap Your Hands, Mental Groove, Fenou, Baobab Music, Jalapeno Records and Soundway Records. He kicked off 2014 writing and producing Sene Kela for Mr Raoul K new album, which gathered love and support from Dixon and Mano Le tough.
Ruff techno, heartwarming house, his style both sophisticated and raw at once allows him to swing moods and match the feverish atmosphere of any club.

⎈ 1DAN (Deepsystems, Batti Batti / UK)
After many years of honing his sound and learning the craft, 1DAN’s first release appeared in 2011 on respected UK underground deep house label; Atmospheric Existence Recordings. This was followed up by a rash of releases on the Maltese label Batti Batti.
Aside from solo studio work, collaborations with Bittersuite’s Jon ‘Griffin’ Gray have resulted in a clutch of releases under their Tales Ov Rossi guise, returning to Atmospheric Existence Rec with the latest release marking the launch of UK label DeepSystems. Close working relationships continued with 1DAN remixing the latest Bittersuite track, These Thoughts for UK based outfit, Situationism.
When in the booth, 1DAN’s hybrid DJ style moves from blistering techno to obscure deep house.
